Tomaatin kukintojen tyvimätä

Hi, some of my tomatoes growing outside in a box have blackened bases (tomato blossom end rot). I have been looking for a possible solution, possibly a spray, but have not been successful yet. I bought the Tomato and Chilli Fertilizer product, but have not used it yet. What product do you recommend?

  • Hi! Thank you for your question. We encourage you to use Kekkilä's Tomato and Chili Fertilizer for you tomatoes. Tomato blossom end rot (tomaatin latvamätä) is often caused by uneven watering and calcium absorption problems. In additions to use of Kekkilä's fertilizer, please make sure that there is enough lime in the soil and that there is an even moisture in the soil.
